Team Management
Inviting team members
In the Studio Portal, go to Settings > Team. Click “Invite Member.”
Enter the person’s email and select their role:
- Org Admin - can add games, manage team, adjust settings
- Org Member - can view builds, crash data, analytics (read-only)
We’ll send an invite email. They click the link, enter their email, and get a one-time code. Once they log in, they’re part of the organization.
Invites expire after 7 days. If someone doesn’t claim their invite, resend it.
Roles explained
Org Admin
Admins can:
- Add and remove games
- Manage team members (invite, remove, change roles)
- Adjust organization settings (name, logo, etc.)
- View all builds, crash reports, and analytics
- Export data
Typically, studio leads and technical directors are admins. You need at least one admin per organization.
Org Member
Members can:
- View build status for all games
- Drill into build logs and details
- View crash reports
- Access analytics dashboards
Members can’t:
- Add or remove games
- Invite team members
- Change organization settings
- See team membership or edit it
Members are good for developers, QA, and other staff who need to monitor builds and crashes but shouldn’t have admin access.
Changing a person’s role
Go to Settings > Team, find the person, and click the role dropdown. Select the new role and confirm.
The change takes effect immediately. If you downgrade an admin to member, they’ll lose admin access the next time they log in.
Removing a team member
Click the X next to their name. Their access is removed immediately.
They can still log in to Hypercade (if they’re members of other organizations), but they’ll no longer see your studio’s data.
Multiple organizations (for publishers)
If you manage multiple studios, create a separate organization for each. In the portal’s top-left, click your organization name to switch between them.
Each organization has its own games, team, and settings. A person can be an admin in one org and a member in another.
This is useful for publishers who want studio leads to have full control of their own org, but need central visibility into all games.
Team size
There’s no limit on team size. Add as many people as you need.
